Privacy notice

County Jail Lookup is run by Atlas Public Records LLC (8 The Green, Suite A, Dover, DE 19901, United States). Here you'll find what the site gathers, who gets it, and what your choices are. Email questions to info@countyjaillookup.com.

Information we gather

  • Lawyer form: your name and phone number, the county or jail you type, your short note, plus the page where you sent it.
  • Call details: the agent needs an exact note on the bond you asked about, so recording may happen. When your call reaches the bail line, the provider keeps the calling number plus the time and length.
  • Site activity: our own script notes which page you viewed, whether you read it, and which tool you used. It also notes which outside link you opened, your screen size class, and the page you came from. No cookies are set, and no outside analytics are used.
  • Log files: your IP address, browser, and when each request came in, kept so the site runs and stays protected.

Who gets this information?

Your lawyer form is routed to a lawyer or law firm advertising on County Jail Lookup for cases of that kind. When you call about bail, a licensed bail agent picks up. For us, hosting and call providers handle data only to keep the service running. We do not sell visitor lists.

How long we keep it

Form requests and call records are kept as long as needed to pass them to the lawyer or agent and to answer disputes, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.

Your rights

People in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas or another state with privacy laws can ask to know the personal information we hold. You can also ask us to correct or delete it. Use the Do Not Sell or Share page to opt out of sharing for advertising or any sale. Email any request to info@countyjaillookup.com. Your request gets an answer at no charge, and asking won't change how you're treated.

Calls and text messages

When you agree on the lawyer form, the number you gave may get calls or texts about the arrest from a lawyer or law firm. Reply STOP to stop the texts. You never have to agree before hiring anyone.
